Step Up
California is a bipartisan coalition working
together to reduce poverty in
California. The Step Up California
Resolution to Cut Poverty is our guiding
document.
The vision is clear: All Californians
can work together towards eliminating
poverty.
The mission is direct: Create the will
among leaders, organizations,
businesses, faith communities, the
public sector, and individuals to step
up and do what they can to address the
causes of poverty and work together to
break the cycle of poverty for the
future.
The goal is just: Eliminate poverty,
recognizing that this will take time and
a strong commitment to take the steps
necessary to ensure that every
California resident can secure the food,
housing, healthcare, education and
income they need to live and be
self-sufficient.
